James - Event Technician.

Starting his professional career in 2011, he has spent years perfecting his skills in Live Sound & AV! Gaining recognition from Entertainment Technology New Zealand (ETNZ) and qualifications to match. If it’s setting up Sound for a Conference, Trade Show, Band, Memorial Service or a Musical Theatre Show - James is the Go To Guy!

Sound Systems

A range of speakers, microphones and mixers gives JMW Events the advantage of having something that will suit your next event!

Sound equipment hire for big or small events!

Speakers from 6” to 18” - Vocal & Instrument Microphones, Wireless Handheld & Headset Microphones - Mixers starting at 2 channels up to 32 channel Digital Mixers. We also have outdoor Horn Systems for larger outdoor events.

With Projectors & Screens, Large & Small Tvs - We can supply AV for your Conference, Corporate Function, Funeral Service, Prize giving & more!

We also stock Cameras & Vision Switchers to add live camera feeds for your event!

Lighting

Staging Decks

With the ability to supply stage for your event we become a one stop shop!

2.4m x 1.2m decks and various heights can elevate any event!

Truss

We have a number of tri truss sections that can be built for a number of events.

A single upright for lighting, a T for outdoor horn systems, an archway or a complete over stage structure!

Videography

Armed with Cameras & gimbals, we also offer filming services. From filming an AGM, memorial service or creating a promo video for your business, get in touch to see how we can help!

Test & Tag

We also offer Electrical Test and tag to AS/NZS 3760 standards.

From a small batch of extension cords to an office full of computers, we can keep your business compliant.

Electrical equipment test tags with caution warnings, tag numbers 445094 and 445095, tested by JMW Events, with contact number 027 3899760. Fields include Equipment ID, Test Date, and Next Test Due.

VHS & Cassette Tape to digital transfer

We can take your old Family Movies that are on VHS Tapes and transfer them to a digital format!
